Owner/Veterinarian

Dr. Sears received her DVM degree from the Ohio State University in 2000, graduating in the top 10% of her class. Prior to attending veterinary school, she earned an MBA and held various positions in business. Seeking to use her skills and talents to have a positive impact on the lives of animals and the people who love them, she returned to her childhood dream of becoming a veterinarian and has dedicated her efforts to preserving and enhancing the human-animal bond. Dr. Sears is also a valued member of multiple veterinary organizations, including the American Veterinary Medical Association, the Independent Veterinary Practitioner's Association, and VMG (Veterinary Management Groups). 

Dr. Sears lives in Fishersville with her two sons Brayden and Caleb. She has two cats, BW and Sunshine, and three dogs: Sophie, a Cocker Spaniel,  Ruthie, a Chihuahua mix, and Blanca, a Rottweiler.

In her spare time, she loves to travel with her children and enjoys theater, live music performances, and just relaxing with friends. She is proud to have clients in Waynesboro, Stuarts Draft, Staunton, and throughout Augusta County as well as Harrisonburg in Rockingham County.
